THE DDI PROBLEM

Your DDI Stack Is Failing You.

Legacy DDI solutions — both DIY and commercial — were designed for a world that no longer exists. The cost, complexity, and risk is compounding.

Prohibitively Expensive

High licensing costs, appliance sprawl, and operational overhead drain budgets and limit innovation.

Trapped by Vendor Lock-In

Proprietary grids and restricted data access leave you with no leverage and no flexibility.

“Frankentecture”

Fragmented tools create complexity, blind spots, and no unified view of your environment.

Security & Compliance Gaps

Manual processes and siloed controls leave DNS exposed and audit readiness at risk.

Built for Yesterday

Legacy DDI can’t support hybrid, multi-cloud, or modern infrastructure demands.

AI Agent Blind Spots

AI agents are growing fast — without visibility, identity, or governance, they introduce risk across your environment.

THE OMNI DDI SOLUTION

Security-Driven. Cost-Optimized. Built for What’s Next.

A single, consolidated architecture built on trusted CDN and DNS infrastructure — delivering everything legacy DDI promised, and everything it never could.

Cut DDI Costs by Up to 50%

No grids. No licensing traps. Just a streamlined platform that reduces infrastructure and operational spend.

Your AI Agents Are Already Sprawling.

Enterprise AI deployments are multiplying faster than governance can track. CheckRed Omni DDI is the only DDI platform with a native control plane for agentic AI infrastructure.

Discovery — See Every Agent

Full inventory of authoritative, shadow, and dangling AI agents across your environment. Know what exists before it becomes a liability.

Trust — Verify Identity & Intent

Verify agent identity, issue certificates, and establish trust relationships between agents, services, and systems before they communicate.

Governance — Control the Chaos

Registration and approval workflows, external agent interaction governance, configuration drift detection, and full change control for every AI asset.

MIGRATION & COEXISTENCE

Your Path To Omni DDI.

Choose Your Speed.

Whether you’re running DIY open source or a legacy commercial platform, Omni DDI meets you where you are — with flexible coexistence and zero-downtime migration options.

How Migration Works

  1. Set-up Portal: Download OVA, import to any VM platform (VMware, Citrix, Oracle), activate license, and access the Omni DDI portal.
  2. Set-up DNS / Migrate: Deploy Omni DDI as recursive, migrate DNS database, then cut over to authoritative. Existing DNS runs throughout.
  3. Set-up DHCP: Shadow DHCP deployment, greenfield VLAN testing, phased VLAN cutover (non-critical first), then validate leases, DNS, and HA telemetry.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is Omni DDI different from legacy DDI solutions like Infoblox or BlueCat?

Omni DDI replaces appliance-based, fragmented architectures with a unified, software-defined control plane that integrates DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and continuous security posture management. Unlike legacy platforms, it eliminates per-core licensing, reduces total cost of ownership by up to 50%, and delivers built-in compliance and visibility across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

Do we need to replace our existing DDI environment to get started?

No. Omni DDI is designed to co-exist with your current DDI infrastructure, allowing you to layer in visibility, security posture management, and governance immediately. You can then incrementally migrate zones and services over time with zero downtime, reducing risk while modernizing at your own pace.

How does Omni DDI improve security and compliance?

Omni DDI continuously monitors your DNS environment for misconfigurations, threats, and compliance gaps across all providers. It maps your infrastructure to 20+ frameworks (CIS, NIST, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and more) and provides real-time posture scoring, automated assessments, and guided remediation — eliminating manual audit processes and reducing exposure risk

Can Omni DDI support hybrid, multi-cloud, and modern infrastructure environments?

Yes. Omni DDI is built for modern enterprise environments, providing a single control plane across on-prem, cloud, and edge infrastructure. It enables centralized visibility and control over DNS, DHCP, and IPAM while supporting dynamic workloads, distributed applications, and evolving architectures — without adding complexity or new silos.

What is Agent Name Service (ANS) and why does it matter?

Agent Name Service (ANS) extends DDI into the AI era by providing a control plane for managing AI agents. It enables discovery, identity, trust, and governance of agents across your environment — similar to how DNS manages traditional infrastructure. As organizations deploy hundreds of autonomous agents, ANS ensures they are visible, verified, and governed, reducing security risks and preventing unmanaged AI sprawl.
